Our client is a specialty chemical manufacturer with customers around the world. They currently seek a Continuous Improvement Engineer to add to their team roughly 60 miles outside of Houston, TX. This engineer will focus on production improvements but will also assist with operations and maintenance when needed.

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Ensure continuous optimization of plant operations
• Identify and evaluate improvement opportunities
• Provide technical support such as troubleshooting
• Ensure compliance of all legal, environmental, safety, and company policies
• Become subject matter expert
  
  

Salary Range: $97,000 - $130,000 + bonus

As a Continuous Improvement Engineer job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

• BS in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant degree
• 2+ years of hands-on engineering experience in an industry setting
• Previous improvement project experience is a plus
• Thorough knowledge of engineering principles
