The Role:
The Community Manager is a motivated self-starter who actively posts content, monitors comments, and engages with online communities across social channels in coordination with our social strategists on behalf of our clients.
You will work collaboratively with our strategists and copywriters to deliver best-in-class social content, meet social goals and provide reporting on feedback based on the needs of the digital communities you service.
You must be a team player who has a passion for storytelling on every platform. You’re passionate about social media and actively participate in them yourself. You understand the value of communicating with digital communities and are comfortable with working on both institutional and emerging platforms.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
Community Engagement
Develop and implement strategies to foster a sense of community
Posting natively and within SMM tools for brands, across platforms
Monitoring content to respond to comments on owned content and deploy proactive comments based on strategy
Includes posting and monitoring during live events
Content Creation
Work closely with creative team to identify and publish real-time content, from surfacing opportunities to posting
Community Growth
Develop and execute strategies to attract new community members and retain existing ones
Analyze community data to identify growth opportunities and areas for improvement
Crisis Management
Develop and implement crisis management protocols to address potential community concerns
Reporting
Gather and analyze feedback from social communities to improve content and engagement
Provide regular reports on community metrics, insights, and trends to senior management
Monitor and report on community KPIs and ROI
Being curious and willing to learn new reporting tools + processes
Collaboration
Partner closely with social media strategist and creative teams
Work closely with brand customer service department to develop clear processes and swimming lanes
The ideal candidate will help translate marketing/media objectives into a content plan
Develop and publish content and for Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube, and develop engage with brand communities on those platforms on behalf of clients
Deliver upon community management duties such as reporting, content strategy, incorporating client feedback and working with creative and account teams
Research content ideas using online monitoring tools
Keep up with platform changes and new social media tools to help client achieve business goals
Be proactive and develop innovative, first time ever-style social activations.
Exhibit effective project and time management skills
Prepare status reports for clients
Keep account team abreast of timelines and deadlines
Assist team members with brainstorming and strategy meetings
Qualifications:
Candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
A strong grasp of major social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, X, Facebook, YouTube)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines in a fast paced environment
Familiarity of SMM tools (e.g. Sprinklr, Sprout) is a plus
A strong grasp of diplomacy, sensitivity, and professionalism when interfacing with clients
Ability to effectively present thinking to internal + external teams

Salary: $65,000 - $70,000
