Job Summary:

The Communications Specialist will be responsible for all member-facing contract communication information for the healthcare group. This includes the independent development of the complete contract package for each agreement. As part of this role, you will need to ensure that all communications are accurate and published on time.

Responsibilities:

1. Independently develop Contract Packages and update the member portal for various business units.
2. Ensure all documents are accurate and consistent with the agreement.
3. Develop all communications independently and in accordance with established protocol.
4. Actively participate in contracting functional team meetings and implementation meetings.
5. Proactively communicate with the Sourcing team to prevent delays.
6. Develop contract change reports weekly to communicate updates.
7. Coordinate and collaborate with Sourcing and Legal teams to develop content for Response publication.
8. Manage and maintain the Member Portal to ensure it is up to date.
9. Provide information and education related to the communication process.
10. Comply with all company and department policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1-3 years relevant experience in business writing/publishing or communications
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, computer, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Solid knowledge of MS Office products, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience communicating contract portfolio value to customers strongly preferred
• Must have excellent attention to detail and strong interest in improving processes
• Must be able to manage multiple tasks and prioritize to meet deadlines
