We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Collections Specialist in Beaverton, Oregon. The focus of this role is to manage the collection processes for our customers, ensuring payments are received in a timely manner and any issues are resolved efficiently. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing skills in Microsoft Excel, customer service, accounts receivable and NetSuite.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with customers via phone and email to collect payments
  • Develop strategies to minimize customer payment aging
  • Handle commercial collections and monitor customer credit accounts
  • Advise on account write-offs when necessary
  • Manage a portfolio of accounts and invoices
  • Collaborate with the accounting department as necessary
