Recruiting Specialist

We are seeking a Collections Specialist to join a respected and expanding manufacturing company. As a Collections Specialist, you will be pivotal in ensuring the prompt and precise collection of outstanding invoices from our customers. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with internal departments and external clients to resolve billing discrepancies, uphold precise records, and enhance the company's cash flow.

Responsibilities for the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Create and distribute precise and punctual customer invoices.
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and pursue overdue accounts.
  • Engage with customers via phone, email, and mail to facilitate prompt payment.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and disputes professionally.
  • Verify accuracy and comprehensiveness of accounts receivable ledger reconciliation.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for customer accounts and payments.
  • Coordinate with sales and customer service teams to handle customer inquiries and issues.
  • Support month-end closing procedures and aid in financial reporting as required.


Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:

  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in accounts receivable or similar finance roles in manufacturing or related sectors.
  • Solid grasp of accounting principles and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
  • Attention to detail coupled with robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems is advantageous.



Salary:

$25-$30 per hour
