About The Role
As a Claims Analyst at Paul Logistics, you will be responsible for the direct oversight and handling of all company cargo and auto liability claims. You will ensure settlements are reached within industry-standard timelines while adhering to best practices in a highly service-sensitive environment.
Requirements
- Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities:*
- Manage all company claims and subrogation, becoming the go-to expert for solutions.
- Develop and streamline internal claims management processes and policies to enhance efficiency.
- Dive deep into understanding and qualifying insurance claim types and insurance coverage, investigating and analyzing loss, damage, and delays to determine company liability.
- Skillfully negotiate and resolve cargo and transportation liability issues, safeguarding the interests of both our company and customers.
- Create detailed and informative reports, coordinating monthly calls with stakeholders to track claims progress and address any obstacles.
- Stay current with industry claims procedures, SOPs, and carrier contracts to ensure accurate and timely claims adjustments.
- Examine customer claims of overage, shortage, and damaged products/loads, from minor mishaps to major incidents.
- Collaboration closely with other departments of Sales, Pricing, Operations, and customers to determine the best resolution for claims.

- 3-5 years of experience in claims management or a related field.
- Proficiency in industry-standard claims procedures and software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Outstanding Communication Skills: Convey ideas, plans, and objectives clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
- Strategic Thinking: Develop innovative solutions and make informed decisions that align with organizational goals.
