Define the roadmap for cloud adoption, migration, and optimization, and lead the execution of strategic cloud projects and initiatives.
Architecture Leadership: Provide architectural leadership and guidance to internal teams, clients, and industry partners. Define and enforce architectural standards, best practices, and governance frameworks to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of cloud solutions.
Technical Innovation: Drive innovation in cloud architecture and solution design through research, experimentation, and prototyping of new technologies and methodologies. Evaluate emerging cloud services, tools, and frameworks, and make recommendations for adoption or integration into the organization's technology stack.
Solution Design and Development: Lead the design and development of complex and scalable cloud solutions for enterprise clients. Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, assess technical landscapes, and architect customized cloud solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Team Leadership and Mentorship: Build and develop a high-performing cloud architecture team, providing leadership, mentorship, and coaching to architects, engineers, and other team members. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the organization.
Client Engagement and Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor on cloud architecture and technology strategy. Partner with clients to understand their long-term goals, challenges, and opportunities, and develop strategic roadmaps and solutions that address their needs and drive business value.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product management, and operations, to ensure alignment and integration of cloud initiatives with overall business objectives. Work effectively in a matrixed organization, building consensus and driving results through influence and collaboration.
Continuous Improvement and Quality Assurance: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize cloud architecture processes, methodologies, and tools. Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and performance evaluations to maintain high standards of quality and excellence in cloud solutions.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field. Master's degree or additional certifications in cloud computing, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, are highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of experience in cloud architecture, solution design, and implementation, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of designing and delivering complex cloud solutions for enterprise clients across multiple industries.
Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and driving successful outcomes in complex and challenging environments.
Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong presentation skills and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders at all levels.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical challenges and propose effective solutions. Ability to think strategically and anticipate future needs and trends in cloud computing.
Business Acumen: Solid understanding of business operations, market dynamics, and industry trends. Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and drive alignment between technology and business objectives.
