We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the “extra mile” philosophy to fulfill our Centralized Operations Manager role.

A leader who brings innovation and simplicity to the company and drives solutions and continuous process improvement. A grave focus on ensuring administration and billing compliance amongst the organization. Expanding centralized administration service offering to Snider Fleet Solutions customer offerings in reducing cost and increasing efficiency by improving operational management systems internally and externally (3rd party processing). Additionally, this role involves developing and executing billing compliance for better operations and service offering to Snider’s Customers.

What You’ll Do On a Typical Day

  • Direct Management for Centralized Billing of Key Customer Programs
  • Reconcile billing discrepancies and reduce billing error rate for Key customers and 3rd party processors for all (SFS) customers
  • Gives support to both corporate and field-based administration on point of sale and policies relative to ALL Snider (SFS) divisions of business (TRACS, Strategic Fleet, Commercial, Mechanical, National Account, Centralized Billing, and Manufacturing)
  • Subject Matter expert on 3rd Party Billing practices and central resource for all respective portal management.
  • Responsible for the reduced billing error rates amongst all customers as well as Key Customer programs (i.e. Fedex Efleet, Fedex, ODFL, Landstar, Averitt, and others that will be defined.)
  • Monthly Reporting on Department specific metrics for ongoing improvement and progress
  • Customer Relationship calls on account billing discrepancies and reconciliations with sales and branches as well as the customer.
  • Provide solutions in collaboration with Sales Teams, operations teams, to deliver on the billing requirements by Customers and Vendors.
  • Training Snider Fleet Solutions teams in the field, sales, and all managers to solve service issues with a strict focus on the administration compliance for all completed services.
  • Key duties include managing teams, optimizing processes, and ensuring efficient resource allocation.

This position is based at the company’s corporate office. The majority of this position will consist of normal office tasks and interaction amongst peers and Snider branches. Overnight and out of market travel to other Snider locations and customers is less than 25%. When traveling to Snider locations, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts/equipment, fumes, or airborne particles, and the noise level is usually moderate to high.

Our Ideal Candidate

Education or Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or other related fields and/or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 7 years' experience within the industry or a related management position.
  • Experience in project management/coordination, execution and training, credit and collection policies, and managing multiple processes and areas within a team.
  • Must have a clean driving record.

Certificates And Licenses

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, understand, and analyze account receivables, customer financial histories, and credit reports.
  • Proficient with 10-Key.
  • Understand debit, credits, and a general ledger.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and the ability to learn and operate other software (AS400, SAP, BTN, etc.)
  • Must have strong leadership, organizational and time management skills, as well as close attention to detail.
  • Reliable and dependable with self-initiative.
  • Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to multi-task, work effectively under pressure and time constraints.
  • Ability to use all necessary office equipment, scanner, facsimile machines, calculators, postage machines, copiers, etc.
  • Ability to interact with all levels within the organization and client base.
  • Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities.
  • Requires the ability to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and business insight.
  • Must be a team player and collaborate with all departments, employees, and external business partners.
  • Ability to follow up and manage accountability for goals and commitments.
  • Ability to develop systems and processes that drive specific objective and outcomes.
