Category Brand Manager
LHH is looking for a skilled Category Growth Manager for a growing Food CPG client of ours in Los Angeles. This role requires a minimum of 7 years experience within a marketing team working on category/brand growth management from a large fortune 500 organization in the food/cpg industry and ability to read, write and speak in Chinese, Cantonese or Mandarin. This is a great opportunity to be a part of a well-known, fun organization. It is preferable to be in Southern California, but the role is open to remote candidates.
Your Role:
- Develop and execute long-term category strategies for growth in retail and foodservice segments.
- Create customer-centric product propositions and marketing concepts to enhance market share and engagement.
- Manage category portfolio and collaborate with internal teams to streamline operations.
- Develop Americas Zone category playbooks and communication kits.
- Lead new product development aligned with global innovation processes.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to implement effective campaigns and promotions.
You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business administration; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7 years of FMCG sales/marketing experience, including 2 years in a managerial role.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with proficiency in MS Office.
- Ability to manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and drive results.
- Fluent in English with proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese.
