Title: Category Analyst

Location: Onsite (5x a week) Chattanooga, TN

Duration: Permanent/ Direct Hire

Salary: $80,000 + Full Benefits

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Accounting or related
• 2+ years of experience as a data analyst, specifically analyzing large scale data
• Proficient in Excel

Nice to have:

• Experience within the food/beverage industry
• Experience or knowledge of data Visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau)

Day-to-day:

A Client of Insight Global's is actively seeking a Data Analyst to join their Category Management team onsite in Chattanooga, TN. This role will support internal purchasing with duties such as tracking rebates, assisting in accruals, and reconciliations as well as support Category Management with external reporting and analytical projects with duties such as accounts payable and purchasing reporting. The day-to-day aspects will be centered around consolidating purchases and AP information into excel, calculating monthly rebates & accruals, and analyzing sales to identify trends, performance, opportunities, gaps, etc. A successful individual in this role will have effective written and verbal communication to take discovered insights to internal management and other teams in providing analysis and project plans to support business decisions and provide recommendations. This person will also interact with the Business Intelligence team to verify data to ensure proper data flow and storage to assist in designing customized reports.
