IS THERE A LIKELIHOOD OF AN EXTENSION PAST THE INITIAL DURATION: Yes. IS THERE A POSSIBILITY THE WORKER COULD BE TRANSITIONED TO AN CLIENT FULL TIME EMPLOYEE: Yes, highly dependent on performance and ability to eventually relocate to the Newark office.
Summary of Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities: • Determining material requirements between manufacturing sites using MRP system. • Generating internal sales orders, move orders between sites • Coordinating with Procurement, Stock room, and logistics department on transfer of material between sites. • Creation and modifications of PO at the discretion of Senior level Buyers
Requirements: • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and material management systems.
Provides support to Project Northeast teams as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
-Ideally, we are looking for someone with:
College degree and or 5 years of experience in purchasing/buyer role.
Working knowledge of Oracle ERP and MRP preferred.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Quick decision making and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of BOM’s, routings and or recipes and work centersur.
