Position Title: Business Development/Sales Manager – Precious Metals

Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and results-driven individual to join our team as a Business Development/Sales Manager specializing in precious metals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and cultivating relationships within the precious metals market.

Position Location: Attleboro, MA or New York City.

Reporting Structure: Division Leadership. Will work with other divisions and senior leaders from various Richline divisions.

Responsibilities Include

Sales Generation: Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets related to the sale of precious metals including advanced materials, jewelry and supporting government markets.

Sales Team Management: Manage and develop LeachGarner’s Sales Team.

Client Acquisition and Management: Identify and engage with potential clients, nurturing relationships to understand their needs and propose suitable precious metal investment solutions.

Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments within the precious metals sector.

Networking: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, industry experts, to expand the company's presence in the market.

Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a deep understanding of various precious metals, their market dynamics and various product lines.

Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and product development teams to create compelling sales collateral and strategies that resonate with the target audience.

Reporting: Provide regular reports on sales activities, market insights, and pipeline progress to senior management.

Development : Developing the existing customer base by understanding their needs and preferences to offer them the most relevant products.

The Ideal Candidate Will Possess

  • A proven track record in sales/business development, preferably in the precious metals industry or related markets.
  • Experience leading sales, product management and customer service organizations.
  • A strong understanding of precious metals, and their market behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and networking skills.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or related field (preferred).
