Job Title: Sales & Marketing Analyst Intern

Position Overview:

The Sales & Marketing Analyst Intern position is a part of our Consumer Insights & Analytics team and will be working closely with the Sales and Marketing departments. The Consumer Insights & Analytics team serves as internal consultants to key functions across Goodbaby’s business, including Goodbaby’s executive, product, marketing, and sales organizations. The team is a fully integrated partner to all business functions, ensuring close partnerships that effectively inform, drive, and measure company performance.

We are looking for an individual who will be able to analyze both quantitative and qualitative data, trends, strategies, and external competition. In addition, the Sales & Marketing Analyst Intern will be expected to research and identify ways to build our brand and acquire new consumers. The Sales & Marketing Analyst Intern responsibilities include but are not limited to measuring digital experiences, performance, identifying optimization opportunities, and assisting with testing and personalization of user experience. This includes developing reports and analyzing web/mobile data using Google Analytics and Looker Studio. The individual will play a critical role in advising on how to deliver a great digital experience to grow the business and inform strategy.

Responsibilities:

Extract, interpret and communicate significant patterns of visitor behavior from web/mobile data that identifies meaningful business opportunities including both marketing compliance and user experiences/functionality, in other words, be curious

  • Work closely with the business to understand monitoring requirements and consumer data analytics requirements
  • Regular delivery of reporting and analysis on the performance of sales, both directly from brand websites and retail partners
  • Constantly looking for improvements in tools, data sources, and analytic techniques to improve various aspects of business needs
  • Identifying critical business problems, translating them into structured analysis, synthesizing data from multiple sources, and delivering insights that drive strategy
  • Leverage analytics to form recommendations that help provide best-in-class digital experiences, increase conversion rates, and drive qualified inquiries
  • Educate Stakeholders on trends and recommend improvements to customer digital experiences and drive enhancements for the respective backlog
  • Present findings and recommendations in a concise, direct and informed manner
  • Assist with implementation of analytics aspects of new website feature launches

Required Experience & Technical Competencies:

  • Current enrollment in a related BS or master’s degree program
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote)
  • Familiar with marketing analytics software a plus: Google Analytics, AdWords, Looker Studio
  • Formal Presentation Skills; experience presenting to large groups
