Job DescriptionStatic Building Services Engineer - Birmingham - Salary up to £38,000

CBW has an excellent new opportunity for a static Building Services Engineer to join a leading facilities company. This is covering a commercial site in a permanent full-time role working 40 hours per week. with no on call.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor mechanical plant
  • Pumps, Motors, Seals, Bearings
  • Plumbing - Unblocking toilets, replacing taps, washers
  • BMS System - Monitor (i.e. Hot & cold)
  • Carry out all aspects of M&E/Fabric maintenance
  • Maintain and update Logbooks
  • Working to Planned Preventative and Reactive maintenance regimes
  • Changing taps/washers
  • Repair and servicing of mechanical & electrical (M&E) equipment, PPM & reactive.
  • Managing priorities within contract constraints.
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team to achieve set goals.
  • Providing information for the pricing of M&E works where applicable, for minor projects and maintenance.

Person Specification

  • Previously worked within a maintenance environment
  • Post apprenticeship experience within a maintenance environment
  • Good knowledge and understanding of a range of complex mechanical systems (Desirable)
  • Recognised apprenticeship in relevant engineering discipline to City & Guilds level
  • GCSE / O Level Mathematics and English or equivalent
  • Previous Competent Person/Authorised Person experience including ventilation and/or pressure systems (Desirable)

Salary & Benefits

  • Basic Salary of up to £38,000
  • No Call out
  • Monday to Friday 08.00 – 17.00
  • 23 days holiday + Bank Holidays
