Seeking a Biology Scientist II to join our Research & Development team. Responsible for developing and evaluating new antibody reagents for flow cytometry applications. The role entails executing experiments with moderate supervision, analyzing data, and presenting findings. Duties include prioritizing workload, troubleshooting experiments, and ensuring compliance with protocols.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete experimental tests accurately and timely, prioritizing workload efficiently.
- Analyze research data independently, plan follow-up experiments, and troubleshoot procedures.
- Utilize FlowJo and FCS Express software for data analysis and reporting.
- Develop skills under supervision, ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
- Contribute to a safe work environment and participate in EH&S programs.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Proficiency in BD FACS Diva, FlowJo, FCS Express, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with flow cytometry experiments, preferably on BD flow cytometers.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate records.
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in cell biology, immunology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of laboratory experience.
