Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

CRi is hiring a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) for our Adult Day Program in Chantilly, VA. The BCBA is responsible for providing behavioral assessments, behavior program development, and program implementation to people with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental illness.

Typical Working Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Location: Chantilly, VA

Principal Duties And Responsibilities

  • To complete series of functional behavioral assessments and develop behavior intervention plans for adults with intellectual disabilities.
  • To complete program and consumer specific training on site to staff.
  • To complete behavioral observations and role model plan implementation to staff.
  • Analyze behavior data to prepare quarterly reports and attend IDT meetings.
  • To attend local human rights and behavior management committees to present quarterly reports.
  • To complete all behavioral and clinical documentation as required by CR, licensure, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Qualified Candidate Must have:

  • Masters degree in related human services field plus two (2) years in intellectual disability, behavior management, and/or therapeutic consultation.
    • Knowledge of functional assessments and experience in developing behavior plans required.
  • MUST be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst, or eligible for subsequent certification, or Endorsed Positive Behavioral Supports Facilitator (Virginia).
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
Physical Demands

High Intensity Day Program for people with intellectual disabilities and high intensity support needs. Must use universal precautions.

Working Environment

  • Must be capable of doing some lifting, physical intervention for hazardous behaviors, and assistance with direct service care.
