As the Aviation Competition Team Coordinator/Instructor at a prestigious university, you'll guide and manage student aviation teams, teach courses, and provide flight instruction. Responsibilities:
Advise aviation competition teams, ensuring adherence to guidelines and safety standards.
Evaluate team performance and provide feedback for improvement.
Identify industry partners and funding sources for mentorship and financial support.
Coordinate team schedules, resources, and communication among members.
Lead student recruitment efforts for aviation competition teams.
Instruction:
Teach aviation education courses or provide flight instruction.
Service:
Participate in campus, university, and community committees.
Foster a culture of excellence, diversity, and belonging.
Ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in aviation-related field or 5-10 years of industry experience.
Certified Flight Instructor certification.
Strong communication skills and commitment to safety.
Ability to work effectively with diverse backgrounds.
Coaching experience and FAA certifications are a plus.
Benefits:
Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $120,000.
