Skills/Qualifications:
- 3+ years of wedding + event planning
- Knowledge of the following tech stack (Aisle Planner, G-suite apps, Basecamp, Clockify, Zoom)
- Based in the bay area
- Excellent time management skills
- Consistency with timeline management
- Patience with colleagues, clients, and vendors
- Handle fast-paced environments with poise and peacefulness
Brownie points:
- Degree in hospitality management and/or public relations
Role + What to Expect:
(To be trained the AMA way)
— remote:
- Efficient communication to ensure seamless execution of the vision
- Develop a budget
- Aid with selecting a venue
- Secure creative partners (vendors)
- Read and creative (vendor) contracts
- Create timelines
- Check-in meetings
- Logistical planning
- Internal communications
— in-person:
- Serve as on-location contact
- Conduct venue visits
- Attend approved expositions + networking events
- Coordinate
- Crisis management

Schedule:
- Weekends as needed (for events; 12 hour shifts can be expected)
- Task oriented (as meetings, physical visitations, and events are booked)
Non-negotiables:
- Must be based in the bay area and okay with traveling (venue visits, networking events, bridal expositions, etc.)
- Signing an NDA upon hiring
Hourly Rate: $30 starting with a potential to move up to $35 after probationary period; W2
