The Financial Operations team supports the firm across a broad spectrum of initiatives, including Finance and Accounting strategic projects, process improvement, product launches and adoption, and coordination across department teams.
The Assistant, Financial Operations is an integral part of the team, assisting the Senior Manager, Financial Operations with day-to-day administration, largely focusing on the annual review processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Typical responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Assist in administering the annual partner review process, including preparing documents, tracking progress, calendaring, working with partners and firm leadership, and distributing time-sensitive materials
Schedule key meetings and feedback sessions on projects and track initiative participation
Review and update administration manuals and maintain department catalogs, working with teams to keep all information accurate and up-to-date
Assist in updating and maintaining department materials and collateral, including internal presentations, Intranet pages, and documentation
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual summary reports
Assist in creating onboarding and training materials for department and firmwide projects
Assist in system creation and refinement, focusing on communication, experience & success
Perform other administrative tasks as requested by management
Qualifications/Position Requirements
Excellent organizational skills and a sharp eye for detail
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
Good judgment and professional maturity including the ability to manage confidential information with the utmost discretion
Ability to work confidently and collaboratively with individuals at all levels of the organization
Highly motivated, responsive and conscientious, with a commitment to delivering excellent client service
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree; degree or coursework in HR, service, and/or operations preferred
Minimum three years of service and/or administrative experience preferred
Compensation
The expected base salary for this position ranges from $65,000 - $75,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
