We are actively seeking highly skilled and experienced Antitrust Attorneys with specialized expertise in handling second requests. This is a near-term full-time opportunity with our major corporate client!

We are actively seeking Antitrust Attorneys located in the United States area with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in antitrust law; must have second requests experience. Demonstrated focus on second requests in the oil and gas industry preferred.
  • Proven track record in handling second requests and managing extensive antitrust mergers and litigation.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state antitrust laws, including the Sherman Act, Clayton Act, and Federal Trade Commission Act.
  • Substantive experience monitoring and analyzing changes in antitrust laws and regulations and advising the company on necessary compliance measures.
  • Relativity and/or BrainSpace software familiarity is preferred.
  • Willingness to support a role requiring one to two days per month of expense-paid travel to Houston-based offices.
  • JD Degree from an accredited institution.
  • Active bar license in good standing in Texas.
  • Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model.


Support our multinational corporate client on the following:

  • Provide expert legal advice on antitrust matters, with a strong focus on second request compliance and management.
  • Lead and manage responses to second requests from the FTC and DOJ, ensuring timely and accurate production of documents and information.
  • Conduct in-depth antitrust risk assessments and develop strategic responses to potential legal risks.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external counsel to gather, review, and produce documents in response to second requests and other antitrust investigations and litigation activities.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in antitrust laws and regulations and advise the company on necessary compliance measures.
  • Prepare and present reports on antitrust matters, particularly second request progress and outcomes, to senior management.
