Experience: 5 to 12 years in airframe stress analysis.
Software Tools: Must have proficiency with CATIA V5/V6/3DX. Experience with NASTRAN is essential (must be visible on the resume).
Analytical Tools: Proficiency in Mathcad, MATLAB, Python, Excel Visual Basic, etc.
Knowledge: Working knowledge of GD&T requirements preferred.
PLM Software: Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA is beneficial.
Engineering Design: Proficiency in engineering design definition, including 2D/3D modeling, requirement capture, and specification development.
FEA Experience: Product development and detailed finite element analysis (FEA) experience with various materials including metallics, composites, structural castings, etc.
Pre/Post-Processor Tools: Experience with at least one analysis pre/post-processor (e.g., PATRAN, HyperWorks, Femap) is required.
Office Software: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Master’s degree in engineering as described above is preferred.
