Aircraft Records Analyst

National Airlines, based in Orlando, FL, operates passenger charter service as well as customized military and commercial air cargo carriages worldwide. National Airlines specializes in oversized, time-sensitive, and special handling requirements, utilizing 757-200, 747-400, and A-330 aircraft to accomplish its missions.


Job Title: Aircraft Records Analyst

Location: Orlando, FL

Department: Quality Control

Reports To: Manager of Quality Control

FLSA Status: Exempt


Essential Functions:

  • Participates in the company's Safety Management System (SMS) in accordance with the responsibilities detailed in the Safety Management System Manual
  • Responsible for processing aircraft maintenance work packages within the Records environment
  • Responsible for updating the computer database with completed maintenance events.
  • Reviews aircraft flight logs for data accuracy when processing in WinAir, and ensures corrections are made accordingly.
  • Notifies the Manager of Quality and/or the Director of Quality Control of work cards or inspections not documented correctly.
  • Record keeping, to include updating and monitoring time intervals on inspection tasks, aircraft usage (time and cycle) recording, and component replacement recording within the computer-based inventory and maintenance tracking system (WinAir).
  • Conducts periodic audits of database records to ensure the accuracy of content.
  • Prepares standard and recurring reports, obtains data from files or databases as requested, and responds to inquiries from the maintenance department on statistical and historical aircraft data.
  • Recognizes, researches, and assists in configuring components for installation and tracking within WinAir based on log page entries and facts taken from inspection records.
  • Accurately configures and tracks life-limited parts, as required, and verifies position on individual aircraft and/or engines.
  • Responds appropriately to AOG events or urgent issues as they arise.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Director of Quality Control and/or the Manager of Quality.


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Aviation background preferred.
  • 3-5 years’ record-keeping experience preferred.
  • Extreme attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a high-impact environment.
  • Exhibit the highest ethical standards of conduct in the workplace.
  • Basic math and writing skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products, adept at learning new software (WinAir, AMOS, TRAX).
  • Ability to multi-task, and work under pressure.
  • Possess analytical skills and good judgment/decision-making.
