Aircraft Interior Engineer - Retrofit project

Must have Active and Genuine LinkedIn

Ft. Worth- near south entrance of DFW airport- onsite position ( Local Candidates only )

Contract role – 2 years initial estimated duration

100% onsite. Interview will be 1 round - virtual.

  • Experience with Aircraft Interiors
  • Experience with Aircraft regulatory requirements
  • Experience in writing technical instructions Surrounding team/key projects
  • A320 Retrofit
  • B777-300 retrofit
  • X-Alaska Phase 2 retrofit

Job Description

  • Develops interior equipment specifications, interior maintenance programs and specifications.
  • Investigates reliability/serviceability problems, and designs/develops corrective actions.
  • Provides technical interface with manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Develops Engineering Orders to modify aircraft interior equipment and/or configurations.
  • Provides engineering support to Flight, Marketing, Quality Assurance and Aircraft
  • Production in addition to supporting engineering related programs and objectives.

Qualifications

  • BS/MS Degree in Aeronautical/Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering discipline from an accredited college/university.
  • Familiarity with aircraft interiors, regulatory requirements and AA engineering practices preferred.
  • Must have good interpersonal skills and work well with other groups
