Join the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics company as an Aircraft Field Service Engineer (FSE) on our Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) team! This position will support the F-35 Program at our Ghedi AB, Italy location.
This is an accompanied expat position located in Ghedi, Air Base near the town of Ghedi, Italy. We are seeking an experienced F-35 Mission System’s (MS) Field Service Engineer (FSE) who will expatriate under SOFA privileges as a USG “Technical Representative” (TR) to support our Italian AF (ITAF) customer. SOFA USG TR privileges include :SOFA-sponsored driver’s license for Italy, access to US military bases in Italy for base exchange/commissary shopping privileges, access to US military health care facilities in Italy, etc.).
Nose to Tail (NTT) FSE: The preferred candidate will be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Avionics/Mission Systems (MS). It is desired that the individual also be an emerging authority in Vehicle Systems (VS) and Supportable Low Observable (SLO), with the skill set to accomplish troubleshooting and analysis of VS, MS, or SLO.
The candidate will act as part of the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics Field Sustainment (AFS) technical interface to the ITAF on-site Customer (both Operations and Maintenance) in resolving issues arising from maintenance and modification activities for all matters dealing with the F-35 aircraft.
Must be a United States citizen. Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
