Summary / Position Purpose:

The Receptionist & Admin Assistant will provide general administrative assistance to the TestEquity organization, as well as customer service support to customers, vendors and employees. The ideal candidate will have a positive and easy-going attitude, be comfortable in working in a high-volume environment with regularly changing schedule of duties. This role reports directly to the Executive Business Partner for TestEquity and will assist several industry leaders as well as the TestEquity organization.


Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:

  • Answer directory calls
  • Greet and assist visitors in a professional manner
  • Receive packages and check/deliver mail
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, expense reporting, scanning, scheduling interviews, calendar management of the organization, etc.
  • Assist with general office duties as required- managing office supply inventory and orders
  • Calendar Management of the organization
  • Assistance in project management with the Executive Business Partner
  • Support logistics for onsite meetings at Headquarters (NRH) and work with Executive Business Partner on planning and executing team meetings at NRH
  • Answers phone in a timely, courteous manner as well as directs calls to appropriate person
  • Keeps reception area and conference rooms clean and free of used cups/glasses/cans, etc. Also sets up meeting rooms every so often with replenishments
  • Work with the organization on different administrative tasks such as scheduling interviews


Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Proficiency in computer applications and software is highly encouraged
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail is desirable
  • Applicant should be friendly, detail oriented, honest, and able to work well with little to no supervision at times
  • Good communication, organizational, and computer skills are a must in that this position will require constant interaction with team members and guests
  • A good attitude and work ethic is more important than experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Comfortability working in a high-volume environment


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. may be required
