As an Account Executive at Vayan, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth & profitability by promoting our suite of quality assurance solutions. Relationship building is essential with the focus being strong client relationships, expanding market share & ensuring exceptional service. The ideal person must be motivated, have an entrepreneurial spirit with a high sense of ownership to grow the Vayan portfolio. This person must also have an attitude to win & to find cost-effective, creative ways to earn business. It is essential to possess a hunter/problem solver type attitude. Lastly, the ideal person must be able to exceed expectations based on customers & company objectives; be aggressive & a positive disruption to adapt to the changing automotive landscape.

You will be responsible for the following:

  • Business Development:
  • Drive revenue by selling Vayan’s quality assurance services, including third-party quality inspection, assembly & rework, technical engineering support, vehicle repair & warehouse services.
  • Identify & develop new business opportunities & relationships through proactive hunting & farming with prospective companies.
  • Develop & implement annual growth strategies, maintaining a robust pipeline.
  • Engage in cold calling & prospecting for new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop strategic sales plans.
  • Commercial Focus:
  • Own customer relationships with key accounts, serving as the focal point of contact.
  • Skillfully negotiate & execute new & existing contracts/terms (including NDA’s, Master Service Agreements, etc.).
  • Strategically gain market share while ensuring margin expectations are met.
  • Prepare accurate proposals properly reflecting customer’s scope / statement of requirements & be able to tailor our services to those customer expectations.
  • Assess customer pain points & effectively present Vayan’s value proposition.
  • Promptly address issues & actively seek opportunities to renew & expand business within existing customer accounts.
  • Navigate complex deal requirements & mobilize necessary resources.
  • Allocate over 80% of your time to selling & motivating customers to choose VAYAN as a 1st choice.
  • Customer Relationship Management/Advocacy:
  • Position Vayan as the “first call” preferred partner for quality assurance services, vehicle repair & warehouse services among designed OEM &/or Tier-1 automotive customers.
  • Convert first-time customers into lifelong clients.
  • Cultivate strong trust relationships with key customer contacts & decision-makers.
  • Continuously learn about industry challenges & customer needs.
  • Be the voice of the customer within Vayan.
  • Understand customer organizations & effectively communicate their needs to the Vayan team.
  • Other:
  • Results-focused ensuring KPIs are met (i.e. Conduct a minimum of 10 meetings per week with customers).
  • Regularly & accurately forecast expected revenue. Inform expected results critical for key business decision making; know the status & the numbers.
  • Strong multi-tasking capabilities: Coordinate & generate multiple proposals concurrently.
  • Deliver high-quality presentations showcasing expertise & capabilities.
  • Participate in related trade show activities as required.
  • Ensure timely & full collection of receivables.
  • CRM Utilization (on a daily/weekly basis):
  • Maintain accurate sales opportunities, key activities & updated contacts.
  • Set up new locations as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience.
  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably selling complex services.
  • Knowledge of quality assurance in automotive or manufacturing industries.
  • Excellent communication & generates & delivers high quality PowerPoint presentations to customers.
  • Generates high quality MS Word based proposals & product offerings.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding performance objectives.
  • Proficiency in CRM software & business applications.
  • Travel requirement dependent upon location & key account activities.
