As an instructor, I taught students basic self defense and technical form techniques to develop a sold foundation off which to grow their skills and abilities. For intermediate students, the development of moral values, their implementation into daily activities, and further development of martial arts skills were focused upon. Students focused upon black belt and the ranks leading up to such, I was responsible for perfecting their form in both sparring to full contact, the self defense combinations, and mentoring them for attaining excelling grades in school (if applicable).

See publicationThis report aims to broadly cover five aspects of the comparison between a subset of hydrogen fuel cells, the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell (PEMFC), and gasoline engines, the most common internal combustion engine on today’s roads, to conclude that PEMFCs are, in fact, a better method, in both cost and feasibility, for providing power to vehicles in the future; however, such a future has yet to come to existence.

Cal Poly Prove Lab Solar Car

The Prototype Vehicles Laboratory at Cal Poly is designed a solar powered vehicle to break the existing world record. The vehicle was completely solar powered - no battery, fossil fuel, or fuel cell. The team was mentored by professionals from Manor Formula 1, Tesla Motors, Google Energy, and more. Prove Lab continues to be hard at work refining their designs, number-crunching the aerodynamics, and strengthening industry partnerships.

The Formula SAE competition is for student members to design and fabricate a formula style racing vehicle to compete in a series of static and dynamic events against other universities from around the world. Rules and restrictions are placed on the car frame and engine so that the knowledge, creativity, skills, and imagination of the students are challenged.
