About

As a horticulturist, educator, author, writer, speaker, television host, producer and plant lover I have been fortunate to work with wonderful people, promoting plants and gardens both in the south and the northeast. As a television host for 13 years on HGTV I traveled across the US interviewing gardeners from all walks of life. Working in public gardens and Piedmont Park has been a great adventure and I look forward to this next chapter with Alex Smith Garden Design. Looking forward to working at Oakland Cemetery helping to grow their volunteer program.
