🛫 At Wisk, our path to first flight consists of many, many tests across our aircraft and autonomous system. Each test is designed to ensure the highest standards of safety, all leading us to the inaugural takeoff of our Generation 6 aircraft. 👀 Check out how these tests work together to lead us to liftoff.

At Wisk, we’re making everyday, autonomous flight a reality for everyone.
About us
Wisk is an Advanced Air Mobility company developing the first autonomous, electric vertical takeoff and landing air taxi in the U.S. In 2010, our team set out to explore the possibilities of electric, vertical takeoff and landing flight. Since then, we have developed multiple generations of aircraft and conducted more than 1600+ test flights. In 2023, Wisk became a fully-owned subsidiary of Boeing. While we operate separately, this relationship allows us to tap into Boeing’s development, testing, and certification expertise, and more. Headquartered in Mountain View, CA with locations around the world, our vision of delivering safe, everyday flight for everyone is closer than ever to becoming reality.

Testing is everything. Watch a Wisk propeller being tested in a Boeing wind tunnel. Our partnership with Boeing gave us access to their V/STOL test facility in Philadelphia, PA. Ultimately, these advanced propellers will be mounted on the booms of our aircraft. Did we mention there will be SIX tilting propellers on our Gen 6 aircraft?

✅ At Wisk, we're designing our aircraft to meet or exceed the highest possible aviation standard. ⚡ In this photo, Esperanza Acevedo, Sr. Composites Technician, is hand forming a piece of "lightning strike" or copper mesh screen. Lightning strike allows a continuous conductive path for the lightning current to flow through in the event that an aircraft is struck by lightning. 🤝 Every member of our talented team plays a critical role in making our mission of safe, everyday flight for everyone, a reality. #WorkAtWisk #AAM
