Recently, scammers posing as West Pharmaceutical Services recruiters began inviting job seekers to interview for nonexistent jobs to steal their personal data. The elaborate scam uses emails issued from a fake company email address, misdirection to a fake company website, and even fake job offer letters. A West Recruiter will NEVER contact a candidate through any email other than a westpharma.com email. If you receive communication from someone claiming to be a West employee but using a Gmail account, you should assume this is fraudulent. Additionally, we will only ever ask candidates to apply through West’s official careers website: https://lnkd.in/eBxRdka6. Finally, we will never ask candidates to provide any type of personal information such as address, DOB, or bank information until after they have been notified of receiving a job from West in writing.
