Wentworth-Douglass Hospital's affiliation with Mass General Brigham has strengthened its ability to serve the Seacoast. President and COO Darin Roark, BSN,MBA,FACHE reiterates that "our focus remains, as it always has, right here in the Seacoast community, where we are expanding services that others have abandoned. • As other hospitals ended their birthing and maternity services, we expanded our neonatal intensive care unit (NICU). • When other providers abandoned primary care in #RochesterNH, we opened up a new location there. • When an occupational care facility closed in #SomersworthNH, we started our own program to support our local businesses." Sienna Rose and Baby Cyrus, former #NICU patients at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, have generously donated journals and adult coloring books to future NICU parents. These gifts are intended to offer support and a means to document and celebrate the small, yet significant, milestones on their path to bringing their children home. Our heartfelt thanks go to Sienna and Cyrus! Photo includes staff that took care of Cyrus in the NICU with his mom: Kim Clithero, Tea Higgins holding Cyrus (at 9 months / 6 months corrected), mother Sienna Rose, Alison Zirpolo and Abigail Zollman. #DoverNH
