Last month, members of NIFA’s communications team attended the annual Association for Communication Excellence (ACE) Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. Director of Communications Faith Peppers received the 2024 Award of Excellence for Leadership and Management. The award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence in the discipline or area of communications represented by a Learning Community, as well as leadership and involvement in ACE. Matt Browning, senior public affairs specialist, received a Silver Award in the Writing for the Web category of ACE’s Critique and Awards program for the NIFA Impact story GusNIP Efforts Impacting Rural Communities – and Economies.
