As we bid farewell to November, we’re filled with pride reflecting on the exceptional accomplishments that have been achieved over here at The Water Valley Company. This month, our dedicated team's unwavering commitment propelled us towards significant milestones, notably nearing the completion of our latest brand experience, Hoedown Hill. This endeavor, born from the cherished memories of Sharktooth Ski & Tubing Hill, have been an ultimate dream project for us. Through countless hours of dedication, passion, and hard work, we're inching closer to the finish line! The nostalgia and love for Sharktooth have fueled the creation of Hoedown, and we are so excited for the communities around us to create those same types of memories with their own families. We're ecstatic to illuminate this unique experience and eagerly anticipate the accomplishments that December holds. Today is one of the best days over at The Water Valley Company because we have SO much to be thankful for. This year has been filled with plenty of ups and downs, but the ups are the only thing that seem to stand out when we think about the community behind us, and the mark we get to leave on Northern Colorado. From kicking off a great season of hockey with Colorado Eagles Professional Hockey, LLC to seeing Hoedown Hill begin to come to fruition, we couldn’t do it without the network of employees, corporate partners, and community advocates that seem to surround us. At The Water Valley Company, we pride ourselves on the ability to connect with the community surrounding us, as it is at the forefront of our success. At the beginning of the week, we were lucky enough to host a Contractor and Consultant Appreciation golf tournament at our very own RainDance National Golf Course - and what a hit it was! Lately, we've had many corporate companies come in through the use of amenities at our various locations to promote growth in relationships of their teams. Okay we’ll be the first to say it. Our company is having a great week of successes 👏🏼 On Saturday, August 26th, 106 golfers played Pelican Lakes to support the Junior Colorado Eagles Professional Hockey, LLC NCYH initiative. Over $50,000 net was raised with the help of all tournament volunteers and sponsors, including the title sponsors, PDC, as well as us, The Water Valley Company. Going forward, the Northern Colorado Youth Hockey Foundation will be able to fund scholarships, the facility NoCo Ice Center and work towards establishing the best quality environment for youth to participate in hockey. What a fantastic golf event to support youth athletics in Northern Colorado! Sunday and Monday were home to the Hawaiian Luau on the Pelican Lakes Island, an event turned fundraiser for the communities suffering from the devastation of the Maui wildfires. QR codes for donation were placed around the event space, incentivizing people to donate at their own will. We had a great turnout, and hope to have contributed as much as possible to relieving some of the burden that Maui is suffering through. Some exciting news is FINALLY here for us to announce 👏🏼 Last night, through unanimous vote by the Loveland City Council, the resolution approving the economic incentive agreement to bring Bass Pro Shops to our property, The Brands, was approved. This will anchor the development and attract an estimated half a million visitors a year. We couldn’t be more excited about what this means for the growth of the surrounding communities and are incredibly honored that Bass Pro Shops has chosen our project and our site to expand their world into. Aims Aviation Day was this past weekend and we couldn't be happier with the outcome! The day was filled with great opportunities to showcase many of The Water Valley Company brands to the local communities of Northern Colorado. Both Discovery Air Aviation and Colorado Eagles Professional Hockey, LLC had tables at the event, and many attendees loved learning about The Marina, HoeDown Hill, and our restaurants.
