Murray Road CEO and President Tim Brandt participated in the Marketing Agency Panel Discussion at last month's NSSF—The Firearm Industry Trade Association Marketing and Leadership Summit. Tim joined fellow well-known and respected agency leaders to provide insights and perspectives on the state of marketing in the shooting industry. The panel was moderated by NSSF Content Manager Daphane Cassidy. The panelists were able to delve into topics such as navigating hostile (to the industry) social media and digital platforms, engaging a new and ever-diversifying audience in the shooting space and overall marketing strategy. Additional discussion points included balancing tried and true tactics with emerging technologies and thoughts in today's data-driven landscape. Crowd participation and engagement helped keep the session lively and productive and brought the conversation to some very tangible takeaways and topics. The summit as a whole was again well attended by leaders and executives from countless brands, organizations and entities within the firearms industry. For Murray Road, it was great to see so many current partners and friends and of course, meet plenty of new faces and learn alongside such a talented and accomplished attendee base.

This has been an impactful project and we’re lucky to partner with such a great organization (Outdoor Stewards of Conservation Foundation) and get connected with so many great people and brands. Look for some additional content out soon from our home state that sheds more light on how important conservation funding is generated.
Working with The Murray Road Agency on another “Connecting With Conservation” video with South Carolina DNR. Without HATS (Hunters, Anglers, Trappers, & Shooters) buying licenses and outdoor products state DNRs would not be able to manage land, fish and wildlife conservation projects such as this. “Hats off to HATS”.
