In a recent podcast episode with Retail TouchPoints, Tanger's executive vice president of leasing, Justin Stein, spoke about how Tanger is transforming consumer experiences at our shopping centers. Many thanks to Nareit for inviting state officials to Tanger National Harbor to show them first-hand the significant contributions REITs make within our local and state economies. The group spent the day with Nareit representatives visiting local business owners who are Tanger tenants, as well as time with Tanger General Manager Rick Ivy and Marketing Director Carrie Masich who shared specific examples of how our center is making an impact in Prince George County and Maryland, overall. REIT-owned properties are located in every state and contribute millions of dollars in jobs and investment income to the national economy each year. Fostering #inclusivity is at the core of our culture. Communities are the heartbeat of our business, and the newly opened TangerKids Sensory Garden at Tanger Grand Rapids is another example of how we Consider Community First at Tanger. With consultation support from Hope Network's Center for Autism, Tanger designed an inviting and accessible garden space for all ages and abilities. Our new Sensory Garden delights guests and appeals to every sense of sight, smell, touch and sound. Safe, non-toxic plantings adorn paved pathways through a beautiful maze-like setting. Engaging artistic elements such as animal statues, sculptures, footprints, butterfly benches, musical flowers - and even a special area for pollinators - create memorable experiences for children and adults alike. It was a whirlwind trip for many, but the memories and friendships created will last on. This week Tanger welcomed our valued Office Managers from each of our centers to enjoy three days of invigorating team building, strategizing and companionship at Tanger’s Greensboro, NC headquarters. Along with senior leaders and local employees, the event included everything from meeting collaboration, a meet-and-greet at Natty Greene's Brewing Co., and a special night out at the Greensboro Grasshoppers game. Our Office Managers are the glue who hold our center teams together and help drive seamless operations. We are so grateful for their hard work and dedication to Tanger’s success! #TangerProud #Team

Tanger’s president and CEO Stephen Yalof joined CNBC's ‘Money Movers’ to share his perspectives on the state of the consumer and spending trends, as well as how Tanger’s new partnership with SEPHORA fits perfectly with our strategy of diversifying brand offerings. Yalof describes today’s outlet shopper as aspirational because they continue to seek brands they love at the best possible value. “That's what draws [aspirational consumers] into our shopping centers,” says Yalof. “As you look at some of the variety we've added to the centers, the diversification of brands [like] Sephora, that customer is looking for a more rounded experience when they come to visit us and because of that, we're seeing customers come, stay longer [and] come during the week.” Watch the full clip in the link below. https://cnb.cx/4cm4wS8

This week, our senior leaders gathered in our Livingston, New Jersey office for two days of strategy meetings. The unique part of our jobs lies in the fact that we are all both employees and customers of Tanger!
