The Tahoe Food Hub is committed to providing an equitable marketplace for all along its value-based supply chain, beginning with a fair price for producers and ending with equal access for all consumers. Integral to the Food Hub’s mission is to source identified food. By sharing the story of the producer, we can better connect consumers with the farmers who grow their food. By strengthening the farmer to consumer relationship, the social economic benefits of a local food system can be realized.
