Building a trusted network of professional caregivers who love what they do.

About us

There is a growing need for pediatric home care which is currently not being met. Many children are spending time in hospitals and institutional care unnecessarily while home care is 10 times less expensive, more effective, and convenient. The pediatric home care market has not kept pace with this growing demand and is in need of thousands more nurses. To address the growing demand for pediatric home care, SwiftShift is reimagining pediatric home care delivery by creating the first caregiver-managed pediatric home care service. Our long-term mission is to increase the number of pediatric nurses who choose to work in this field so that every child can access reliable home care. Our unique offering creates more meaningful relationships between patients, families, and caregivers. We’ve replaced office-based case managers with nurse care teams and empowered them to manage the safe transition from the hospital to long-term home-based care. These self-managed teams choose their patients and control their schedules, creating a greater sense of ownership over their care management. We use an AI-based home care management platform to help our care teams focus on delivering care. No more manuals, no more paper! By providing all the relevant data in an easy-to-access interface, caregivers can make better decisions for the well-being of their patients. Most importantly, at SwiftShift we know the best patient outcomes start and end with the best nursing experience. That’s why we are committed to our caregivers’ professional development by providing 24/7 training and support services.

One of the beautiful aspects of a Self-Managed model is its "Community ❤️ Focused" approach. 👨👨👦👦 This means that each team is dedicated to providing in-home services with a primary focus on their local communities. ✔️ Our care teams are not only experts in their fields but also deeply knowledgeable about their local areas, fostering strong relationships with the people they serve. ✔️ By building connections with families, schools, physicians, hospitals, nursing facilities, and more, our care teams and community liaisons ensure that when someone needs in-home services, we can immediately step in and provide the quality care required. Focusing on the community: ⏳ Reduces the time to admission. 🙌 Improves the quality of care. ❤️ Results in much better outcomes. If you’re interested in learning more about our community-focused approach, please reach out to us. CC: Assaf Shalvi Vivek Nanda

Fixing the home care worker shortage could be the key to transforming home care entirely. Millions are waiting for in-home services. Millions more are seeking meaningful, sustainable careers. So, why can't we connect this demand with supply? The problem might be simpler than we think – we're not doing enough to make home care a viable career. How can we attract enough workers if the standards are subpar? How can they build sustainable careers if it's just their second or third job? We believe the solution is clear: - Empower caregivers so they see this as a career, not just a job. - Empower caregivers so this can be their primary, fulfilling job. - Empower caregivers to build long-term, sustainable careers. - Empower caregivers to deliver the best possible care to their clients. That's the key to solving everything in home care. Let's make it happen.

🚀 Redefining Home Care: A Call for Transformation 🚀 The home care industry stands at a critical juncture. Companies across the sector are grappling with significant challenges that impact both the quality of care and operational efficiency. Key among these challenges are: 1. Staffing Shortages: Finding and retaining qualified caregivers remains a formidable challenge, leading to burnout among existing staff and reduced care quality.    2. Regulatory Complexity: Navigating the myriad of state and federal regulations requires significant administrative resources, often diverting attention from patient care. 3. Technological Integration: Despite advances in technology, many providers struggle to effectively integrate new tools that could enhance efficiency and caregiver engagement. These persistent issues call for a groundbreaking approach, and that's where SwiftShift’s model of self-managed home care comes into play. This innovative strategy empowers caregivers and clients, enhancing flexibility and personalization of care. By leveraging technology to streamline operations and improve communication, SwiftShift is not just addressing the symptoms but fundamentally transforming the home care landscape. It's time for a shift. Let's embrace a model where caregivers have the tools to manage care seamlessly, making home care more adaptable and responsive than ever before.

🏠 The Crisis in Home Care: Addressing the Caregiver Shortage The most pressing challenge in the U.S. home care industry is the severe shortage of qualified caregivers. This issue is multifaceted, rooted in low wages, high job demands, and a lack of adequate support for caregivers. These factors contribute to high turnover rates and make it increasingly difficult to attract new workers to the field. As our population ages and more people opt for home-based care over institutional settings, meeting the demand for services becomes ever more challenging. To address this, we must look towards innovative solutions that not only retain but also attract new caregivers to the industry. A critical step forward would be for payers to enhance the sustainability of home care as a career. This can be achieved by offering caregivers direct cash incentives for services that help reduce hospitalizations, thereby saving costs. Such incentives would boost earning potential and could transform home care into a primary, rather than secondary, job choice. It's time to rethink how we value and support our caregivers to revitalize home care. Let's work together to make these necessary changes, enhancing care quality and availability across the board. #HomeCare #HealthcareCrisis #CaregiverShortage #SustainableCare

At SwiftShift, we're challenging the traditional home care especially the way we tackle the labor shortage in the home care sector — by placing power directly into the hands of our caregivers. Empowerment here isn't just a buzzword. It's about crafting a working environment with competitive benefits and compensation that turns a side hustle into a sustainable career. Today, the majority of home care workers juggle two or three jobs to make ends meet due to dire industry shortcomings. This model isn't just unsustainable — it's unacceptable! Our challenge is clear: How can we structure caregiver compensation to not only retain talent but also attract new professionals to the field? In our opinion the solution is: value-based incentives. These incentives have transformed other parts of healthcare, such as hospitals and medical groups, by aligning compensation with the quality of care provided. Yet, this innovation has scarcely touched home care, particularly at the caregiver level. At SwiftShift, we're leading the charge to ensure these value-based care incentives are extended to caregivers. By measuring and reporting on outcome and wellness metrics, we can prove the efficacy of our model to payers who can, in turn, provide incentives for optimal results. We're committed to work with any payer who wants to engage in value-based care model. We're committed to ensuring that these additional funds reach the most deserving hands — those of the caregivers themselves. This is more than a business model; it's our mission to empower caregivers and make home care accessible to everyone. Join us in this movement. Spread the word. Encourage payers to back this transformative approach. Together, we can redefine home care for the better. CC: Assaf Shalvi
