Team Susser gathered to celebrate culture, teamwork and recognize a very successful first half of the year! It was a great opportunity to bond with our team over lunch which included slices of icy cold watermelon and bologna sandwiches on white bread with old-fashioned mustard. Fun fact: This meal, a favorite of Chairman and CEO, Sam L. Susser’s grandfather, “Senator” Sam Susser, has been a cherished family tradition for many decades. In his honor, we serve his favorite meal around the Fourth of July, his birthday! We appreciate our dedicated team for upholding our values of integrity, accountability and fostering genuine, meaningful relationships within the community and Susser Bank family.

Our DFW team had the pleasure of participating in the Greater Arlington Chamber of Commerce Small Business Expo. The event served as an opportunity to connect with local business owners, providing a platform to discuss business development and SBA finance options for members of the Tarrant County Business community. We are grateful to have an experienced banking team committed to understanding and supporting entrepreneurship in Texas.

Our DFW team was honored to spend a day at the North Texas Food Bank, helping to pack nearly 59,992 meals for families in need. At the Dallas Regional Chamber’s latest board meeting, Carl Cravens, Chief Banking Officer and a board member, not only actively participated in discussions regarding future community enhancements, but he also seemed to thoroughly enjoy the experience with the Mavs ManiAACs! Our goals are in sync with the Chamber’s mission to enrich the Dallas business community, promoting economic growth and progress.

Our DFW team had the opportunity to participate in the 36th Annual Colleyville Woman's Club Fashion Benefit. The club is actively involved in supporting charitable causes across the metroplex, such as women's shelters, children's charities, literacy programs, and other social services, while offering scholarships to local graduating seniors. It was an honor to engage with local professionals committed to enhancing the academic achievements of our youth and fostering a positive influence in our community.

Our Austin and Round Rock teams proudly hosted the 3rd Annual Round Rock Police Department Appreciation Breakfast. It was a privilege to engage in meaningful conversations and strengthen our partnership with the RRPD. A sincere thank you to the Round Rock Police for their invaluable service in ensuring the safety of our community.

Our Houston team sponsored an Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO) Luncheon where Chairman and CEO Sam L. Susser shared his entrepreneurial journey and emphasized the importance of building long-lasting businesses and relationships. We enjoyed connecting with like-minded business leaders and are proud to support an organization that shares in our commitment to fostering success among Houston entrepreneurs.
