Our Chief Environmental Sustainability Officer Kim Marotta spoke this week at The Aspen Institute ESG Summit about tackling the urgency of the global water crisis. Water is a key focus area for our business as our products depend on nature to supply the pristine water that goes into the highest-quality spirits. We're committed to continuing the conversation and engaging in partnerships to protect our natural resources. #ProofPositive
🌍 While carbon reduction has become the top concern for sustainability leaders, a daunting global water crisis has arrived. At The Aspen Institute #AspenESG Summit, I had the privilege of joining sustainability leaders from Starbucks, Meta and The Walton Family Foundation in an insightful session focused on addressing this critical issue. We delved into how we can right-size ambitions, unlock capital, and promote change within industries and across coalitions. A heartfelt thank you to Michael Kobori (he/him), Amy Saltzman and Amanda Gardiner for your strong leadership, and including me in the conversation. 🌊 #AspenESGSummit #Sustainability #WaterCrisis #ResourceStewardship #EnvironmentalLeadership #ESG #SustainabilityStrategies

We’re honored that HRH The King chose a bottle of Glen Garioch as a gift to His Majesty The Emperor Naruhito of Japan and his wife, Empress Masako. Glen Garioch is only ever produced in small, precious batches, and is appreciated by those who enjoy a hearty Highland malt. It's a Scotch Whisky that embodies the very best of traditional, authentic craftsmanship.

Today marks #Juneteenth, also known as “Freedom Day,” the first nationally recognized holiday commemorating the emancipation of enslaved African Americans in the United States. To recognize the day, our Bar & Mixology Associate, Ugo Okworogwo, created a special recipe called Opal's Tea. This drink pays homage to the traditional 'Red drink' or 'Red drank' often served at Juneteenth gatherings. This tradition is derived from West African culture, where guests are welcomed into homes and served red-colored beverages, typically made from hibiscus flower petals. In many West African cultures, the color red symbolizes strength, spirituality and transition. We hope you give this special cocktail a try! Ingredients: 4 dashes Aromatic bitters 2 dashes smoked bitters .5 part lemon juice .5 part ginger syrup .25 part spiced hibiscus berry syrup 1.5 parts pineapple juice .5 part Sorel liqueur 1.5 parts Jim Beam Preparation: 1. Add aromatic bitters, smoked bitters into a cocktail shaker. 2. Squeeze juice from a lemon, add ginger syrup, spiced hibiscus berry syrup, pineapple juice and Sorel liqueur. 3. Add Jim Beam Bourbon. 4. Fill the shaker with ice and shake until everything is mixed together. 5. Pour the cocktail into a glass through a strainer. Enjoy responsibly! #DrinkSmart
