About us

Since 1967, The Springfield Arts Council has presented the annual "Summer Arts Festival," providing admission-free concerts, theater, and entertainment experiences from mid-June through mid-July at the Turner Pavilion in Veteran's Park in downtown Springfield, OH. The Arts Council has also been the area leader for over thirty-five years in bringing first-class Broadway and national touring attractions to the community with its "Broadway and Beyond Series." The Council’s "Arts in the Classroom" program adds value to school arts curricula and helps to build future arts audiences by annually providing professional performing artists to area schools. In addition, the Springfield Arts Council’s outreach efforts, including "The Costume Collection" and the "Youth Arts Ambassadors" program, that strengthen the Council’s mission and involvement in the Springfield, OH community.
