Congrats to the team at Nasuni! Since 2022, Sixth Street Growth has been invested in Nasuni. We look forward to continuing to partner with Paul Flanagan and the team as well as their new investors Vista Equity Partners, TCV, and KKR.
2024 has been a very busy year for Nasuni, and we are continuing to grow at an accelerated rate. Today I’m proudly adding a new company milestone to our long list of recent successes: Nasuni has signed an agreement to receive a majority investment led by Vista Equity Partners, a leading global technology investor. Vista will be joined by TCV and KKR in this transaction. This strategic growth investment values Nasuni at approximately $1.2 billion. I want to thank Vista, TCV and KKR for their belief in us and their partnership as we build an industry leading hybrid cloud storage and data services company. I want to thank Goldman Sachs and Sixth Street for the past and future support as we continue this journey together. I want to thank North Bridge Venture Partners, Sigma Partners, Flybridge, Sigma Prime Ventures and Dell Technologies Capital for all their belief in us from the very beginning – it has been a heck of a ride! Finally, I want to thank the best employees in the world – all our Nasunistas! Let’s keep building this great company and delivering world-class products and customer support to our fantastic customers! Throughout the summer, Sixth Street shows up and shows out, working hand-in-hand with our nonprofit partners across the country. As One Team, employees support students in education and extracurricular activities, revitalize urban spaces, provide meals to neighbors experiencing food insecurity, and more. We feel privileged to continue working with our local partners this summer. Last week, we celebrated the 10th Anniversary of Sixth Street Dallas, which has grown to 200 professionals, making it Sixth Street’s second largest office. Dallas is an area of innovation, talent, and opportunity and it is a core region for Sixth Street’s future. As previously announced, our Dallas Office will be expanding its footprint in early 2025 by adding an additional floor for future growth. We are building Sixth Street at the intersection of finance and technology as One Team and our Dallas office is a critical part of that plan. Thanks to everyone for celebrating with us and check out the photos.

Sixth Street reposted this
This summer we’re welcoming over 60 new associates and interns into Sixth Street. Here’s my advice: don’t be afraid to ask the “dumb” questions. Early in your career, this is one of the most important skills to learn. People think they need to fake it till they make it and pretend they know everything, when the truth is it’s exactly the opposite. If you don’t know something -- or maybe you know a little bit but you really want to be sure -- then the only way to learn about something is to ask. And if the person sitting across from you can’t explain what they know in a simple, clear way, it usually means they themselves don’t fully understand it. So ask the question. And when you do, don’t do it just to make your voice heard. Be authentic and an active listener so you can expand your knowledge base and intentionally build your skills toolkit. Your future self will thank you because getting good at asking those questions now will help you for the rest of your career.
