In 2023 we marked 70 years of business which means 7 decades of our Stakeholder Philosophy which to us, means sharing our success with those who contribute to that success. Today, we published our annual Real Impact Report that shows our progress across three pillars: People, Planet, Product. Our Real Impact ensures the safety of our products, the livelihoods of our employees and the prosperity of our community. “To us, giving back to our community and thinking of others has been, and always will be, central to who we are, what we do, and why we’re part of the Sargento Family,” said Chairman and CEO Louie Gentine. “This core belief shows up in the work we do every day, how we treat each other and through in the milestones we have achieved." We're proud of our accomplishments on our journey to be the most innovative, best-loved real food company. Tap the link to read our announcement and view the report! #SargentoFamily #CSR #impact

The Sargento Family is always in our 'Giving Back Era.' On #WorldDownSyndromeDay in March, our Trade and Demand Planning Team gathered to support their teammate her daughter by hosting a fundraiser where most of the prizes were experiences. Since then, the experiences have come to life! Today, HR Business Partner Nicole Jens hosted a Taylor Swift themed team lunch with our EVP - Human Resources Doug Pelletiere as the guest of honor. Nicole earned an hour of Doug's time and since she's a #Swiftie, she planned a pink party with friendship bracelets, heart glasses and of course music. Sr. Director Pricing and Demand Amy Ehlen won the opportunity to match outfits and get lunch with Sr. Trade Planning Analyst Ryan Stubbs. Our Consumer Products Leadership Team won the chance to hear Demand Planning Manager Laura Rhode play musical selections on her clarinet - everything from Disney, to David Bowie - and at one point was joined by Sr. Marketing Manager Michael Bierbach on trumpet for 'If You're Happy and You Know It!' We're proud of the Sargento Family for using their time and talents to help shine a light and lend their support to meaningful causes in our community. #SargentoFamily #DSAW #creativity #humorandfun

We’re feeling good this Friday after Sr. Electrical Engineer Steve “Opie” Oplatek and his wife Kathy were able to be reunited in their home. Following a leg amputation procedure, Kathy was not able to get into their home with a wheelchair, causing her to have to stay at her father’s house that had a wheelchair ramp. Opie’s #SargentoFamily stepped in when they heard about this. 18 members of the engineering team at Sargento built a ramp at Opie’s home after a month of planning and 2 days of building. Once the team completed the build, Kathy was able to wheel into her home for the first time in four months. “I can’t thank the team enough. I can honestly say when Sargento says ‘Hire good people and treat them like family,’ they mean it. I am so glad I came to Sargento. This really is a great company. It is the best company I’ve ever worked for. I always feel that someone’s got your back here,” shares Opie. We are proud of the engineering team for showing Mutual Support for their team members and showing what it means to be a part of the Sargento Family. #SargentoFamily #mutualsupport #wheelchairramp #engineeringteam

It’s National 3rd Shift Workers Day! We're very grateful for those who work overnight and keep the world moving - especially here at Sargento. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 4% of workers in the U.S. works an overnight shift. Of those who work in production in the U.S., 9% work an overnight shift. Here at Sargento, Jamie Smith is a part of that 9%. Jamie is a Team Leader at our Plymouth facility on 3rd shift. Jamie recently earned a Chairman’s Award, one of the highest awards at Sargento given out annually to those that do an excellent job of demonstrating the cultural values of Sargento. Jamie received many nominations from his colleagues who value his leadership. He works in the Slice department overnight. They wrote great things about Jamie and his Sense of Ownership (one of our values) saying, he's "an amazing boss and teammate!” They appreciate his positive attitude and how he puts others first. Way to go, Jamie! #SargentoFamily #3rdshift #recognition #culture
