Here's a common mistake we see many Replo users making— Creating stand-alone nested containers inside parent containers, or in other words, creating "only child" containers. While it might seem intuitive to use containers to group related elements, it's what most often causes "only child" containers appear. Instead, we can apply spacing and styling tools such as gap, padding, and margin onto the parent container to cut down on levels of nesting. This means reduced page weight, less complexity, and enhanced page speeds! Best of all, it means you no longer have to edit multiple containers just to make a simple design change. One of the best things about working with our customers is when we get to watch them use Replo to grow at astounding rates 📈 Really Good Boxed Wine (RGBW), like it's namesake, is a wine company that specializes in selling great wine in boxes. Feeling limited by the high costs of hiring a third-party developer and designer to build and maintain the custom Shopify theme for his site, owner Jake Whitman turned to Replo for a more flexible solution. As a two-person team, Jake needed an easy, no-code method for customizing his storefront. With Replo, Jake now saves $30-40K each year, and has regained control over the design of his site 💫 On top of that, Really Good Boxed Wine saw a 20% increase in subscription revenue for their “Really Good Boxed Wine Club” within just 7 days, as compared to all of the company’s subscription revenue in their first year of business. If this isn't an example of hyper-growth with the help of Replo, we don't know what is. Beyond customizing their site and leveraging our extensive subscription integrations, RGBW has used Replo to— ✅ Create custom headers and footers 🏠 Transform their homepages 🎁 Create tailored product pages 💥 Create unique fonts and content pages Read more in the link below to learn all about the details of how we helped Really Good Boxed Wine supercharge their ecomm growth.

Here are two things you should NOT do when you're building in Replo: 1. Don't use empty containers to create space 2. Don't duplicate and hide containers for different devices Both methods may seem like a great shortcut for achieving the desired layouts in the moment, but it can lead to designs that are confusing to edit and manage. Worse, it can add unnecessary weight to the page, slowing down page speeds and performance. Instead, check out the slide carousel below to see what you should do instead. This past week, our team kicked-off Replo's first ever annual design mini-project week, where we launch a series of high-voted, smaller-scoped projects —  One of our freshest features? The new Components Panel 🧰 Now revamped with a two panel design and re-organized elements, the new components panel is optimized for faster and more intuitive navigation. Some highlights: 1. Page and section templates are easily accessible from the top of the panel and take you to our template marketplace without leaving the editor. 2. Component labels include categories such as "Basic," "Layout," "Interactive," and much more, so you can figure out where you need to go at a glance. We know how time-consuming it can be to manually configure designs for every text block, so here's a quick (but often overlooked) tip for you— Try setting default font styling on top-level containers, so their children elements will automatically adopt the same font. For example, if you're setting a container’s font to Arial, any text block added within this container will automatically use Arial, too. 'Saves you so much time and hassle, no? Best of all, if you want a consistent font across an entire page, simply set the font style on the top level Page container.
