Every CEO is making this mistake right now, and it will kill your company. CEO: "Everyone, listen up. Our productivity has dropped significantly, our costs are high, and if we don't adopt AI fast, we will be left behind. Every leader needs to find a way to be more productive!!!." Every Leader in the Company: "We need to find the best AI tools and get them installed immediately! I’ve just ordered a 6 more AI tools that told us they could save us millions!!" Cybersecurity & Privacy: "We can’t keep up with all these new tools! The queue and backlog is 10x anything we have ever seen, we have the same team size as before and our privacy risks are skyrocketing!" Employees: "Which tool are we supposed to use for what? We have so many options, and none of them seem to work together. This is so overwhelming that I won’t be able to hit my goals this quarter" Chief People Officer: "Everyone, stop! We need a practical approach. Why don’t we analyze the highest impact tasks to enhance with AI and go after these first?" Workforce Strategy & Talent Team: "we've analyzed every job in the company by breaking it into tasks, skills, and requirements. Here are the tasks with the highest impact areas for AI enhancements. Let’s focus our efforts on these." Executives: "Wow.. Why didn't we think of this…. this makes so much sense. How do we start?" Chief People Officer: "I’ve already called Reejig. We’ll use their work ontology to streamline this process and redesign our workforce team by team." Transformation Team: "This data is incredible. We can see exactly where AI will make the most impact!" CEO: "Thank you, Chief People Officer and the People team, for your brilliant and practical approach. You’ve saved us from chaos and led us to true innovation." Chief People Officer: "It was a team effort. And with Reejig’s help, we’ve created a world with Zero Wasted Potential." And so, the Chief People Officer became the hero of the company, leading them to a future where AI was not just adopted, but harnessed for maximum impact. P.S This is happening across most companies today, and it’s like watching a kids' soccer match—everyone is just chasing the ball. If used correctly, AI should complement or supplement workers in the workforce and can be treated like a worker.
