Following a back-to-back run in first place, North Carolina takes the #2 spot in CNBC's annual Top States For Business ranking! In a photo finish, NC misses the top spot by just 3 points, making this the closest race in the history of the study. Congratulations to Katie Matteson (Faszczewski) Susie Clark Patrick Downs Yvonne Gilyard Stephen Dunn Jr., CPA Yolanda Thacker Jeana Thompson Allen McCollum Candace Beverly Samantha Bray, M. Ed. Theron M. Bronson, AIA, NCARB Kendal Cleary Bernette Stivers Alexa (Saleeby) Bowser Karen King Sara May Georgia Loadholt and Dr. Kimberly Williams Dates for fall and spring class cohorts to be posted in July.
Just wrapped up my final session for the Raleigh Chamber Emerging Leaders program, and it was an incredible experience! Big thanks to Brand Fuel for hosting us yesterday. We had the privilege of hearing from Danny Rosin, Co-owner & Co-President, and Emma Keenan, Director of Happiness, on the power of volunteerism and making an impact with our time. Their insights on maintaining a positive mindset - like saying "I have a productive week" instead of "busy week"- and the importance of infusing fun into our daily routines were truly inspiring. Special shoutout to Shana Overdorf for her dedication and effort in making the Emerging Leaders program such a success! #raleighemergingleaders
