AIR COMPANY invited us in with a prompt: To productize their technology with an enclosure that considers: scalability, materiality, and modularity all while bringing the company's story into the fold. As PROWL, we Begin With The End, but we also began with the inputs in this case --> Air. By designing an inflatable enclosure, we could protect and cloak the machine, but inflated structures also being a softness and humanity to an otherwise very complicated, intimidating piece of hardware. The PEEL chair featured by DesignWanted
This chair is hemp-based, biodegradable and compostable. Presented at last #MilanDesignWeek, within the Alcova venue, The PEEL Chair by PROWL Studio showcases the team’s efforts to combat fast furniture by designing products with healthier materials and accessible end-of-life plans.
