Every shipment is enclosed in a roll-top canopy system to protect your order from the elements. And since each trailer can carry up to 50,000 pounds of steel, all of our drivers are required to complete a month-long driving education course to help guarantee your order arrives safely. Other delivery resources at our disposal include on-site rail service and the ability to ship directly from the mill. ✨ June Employee Spotlight ✨ Meet Brad Lubischer! Brad grew up in Hadar, Nebraska and graduated from Pierce High School. He then went on to attend college at Wayne State College for a couple of years. He currently resides in Pierce, NE. Brad has been married to his wife Kristie for 29 years. Kristie is a Nurse Practitioner at Women’s Health in Norfolk as well as a travel agent. Brad and Kristie have 3 children - Dillon (25) - their oldest son resides in Yankton with his wife Jess. Faith (21) resides in Wayne - and will graduate with her biology degree in 1 year from WSC and will move on to get her Masters. Gavin (15) will be a Sophomore at Pierce High School. Brad enjoys spending time with his family and traveling. Brad learned about Norfolk Iron and Metal from his father, John, who was a long-time employee of Norfolk Iron and Metal and retired as Vice President of Purchasing. Brad started his career in the Maintenance Department as a seasonal employee over Christmas Break from college. Brad enjoyed the sense of accomplishment and problem solving and asked if he could stay with the company full-time. This began his 30-year journey with NIM. Since his time here Brad has built a strong maintenance department and has been in leadership for the Norfolk Maintenance team for over 20 years. Brad enjoys the family/team environment and working with many different groups within the company. Brad takes pride in his team and creating an efficient maintenance department. #NorfolkIron #ItsThePeople #NIM #EmployeeSpotlight
