Amazing staff, team, project, and community! Thank you, and congratulations, Missoula Montana Airport!
What does it look like to transform an airport from a transit point into a destination? With its “Montana Modern” aesthetic, LEED-aligned sustainability, and sensory-inclusive design, the Missoula Montana Airport has been honored as the winner of the IIDA RMC 2024 BEST Award in the "Serve" category. This space warmly welcomes and guides visitors, immersing them in the beautiful landscapes of the "Last Best Place." Congratulations to Missoula Montana Airport for this outstanding achievement! 📸 : Lara Swimmer Photography #CreateImpact #ProjectAward #LEEDProject #AirportDesign #IIDAAward

Seeing a need and then filling that need is part of our employee-ownership culture. Recently, Marvin Courville, resident project representative from our Missoula office, responded to one of the wish list items in the Arlee Brown Building. With the help of Drew Hendrickson, 100 chairs found their new home in this community meeting space. #buildingbettercommunities

The West Yellowstone Airport (WYS) is currently undergoing construction of a brand-new terminal building and significant site improvements. We are providing comprehensive engineering design and construction administration services on another amazing project by A&E Design. Construction began in 2022, and our team has thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to work in West Yellowstone–just ask Landon Goodrich and Daniel Tanascu, PE!

🦆🦆🦆 Tis the season when mama ducks fearlessly lead their ducklings across storm grates, and the ducklings sometimes fall through 🫣 What you might not know is that our Street-Traffic team not only takes good care of our stormwater system but also rescues many ducklings during this time of year~👷👷♂️👷♀️ Let us know if you ever see any ducklings in trouble~ Just look at those duck faces 🥹 #BillingsPublicWorks #CityofBillings #BillingsMT #ducklingseason

Our Missoula-based team of employee-owners hit the links last Friday to support the Swing Fore Hope Golf Tournament at Canyon River Golf Club. The tournament benefitted Cancer Support Community Montana, a non-profit created to provide a full range of supportive programs for people with cancer and their loved ones. We were happy to swing into 2nd place and benefit this worthy organization.

It's always great to see our employee-owners working in their communities and connecting with partners, clients, and others. Katie Melby, PE, is an employee-owner in our Spokane office who does just that with WTS Spokane/Coeur d'Alene Chapter. Thanks for your professionalism and hard work!
WTS Spokane/CDA is kicking off our new series, Member of the Month! We want to thank all of our wonderful members that makes this chapter who we are, and we are starting it off with Katie Melby, PE, our June Member of the Month! Katie was born and raised in Conrad Montana, after which she moved to Bozeman to attend Montana State University. She now works as a Transportation Engineer at Morrison Maierle in Spokane, WA! Her favorite part about being a transportation engineer is problem solving. She loves the design process and finding those unique solutions to unique problems. Katie has been a WTS Spokane/CDA member since 2018. She states that her favorite part of being invloved with WTS is being able to meet and network with other transportation professionals in the region. Thank you for being a valued member, Katie! We love seeing you at our events and can't wait to see what this year has in store for us.
