🚑📢 Strengthening & Sustaining Mobile Healthcare Grant Program: Empowering Safety and Security for Our Members! 📢🚑 We are thrilled to highlight two of our members, Caring for Miami and The Night Ministry, who were awarded up to $10,000 each through the Mobile Healthcare Association's grant program to develop and implement comprehensive safety plans. These initiatives are crucial for ensuring the security and effectiveness of their mobile healthcare services. Caring for Miami : With the grant funding, Caring for Miami equipped their staff with the knowledge and readiness to respond effectively to emergencies. They implemented training on active shooter response and de-escalation techniques, developed a comprehensive safety action plan, and invested in a state-of-the-art security system for their mobile dental clinic. The Night Ministry: Facing the challenge of catalytic converter theft in Chicago, The Night Ministry used the grant to purchase and install protective cases for their Outreach Buses' catalytic converters and new security cameras. These measures have significantly enhanced security for their staff and clients, ensuring uninterrupted services throughout the year.
