This week, I have the privilege of helping to facilitate a Pluralist Lab. Pluralist Labs are conversations between people with divergent political viewpoints. It's our belief that we've lost the ability to talk about these things well. So we bring a small group together to discuss topics ranging from crime to immigration to education. And then we hang out afterward. You can see people having these types of conversations in the documentary Undivide Us: https://lnkd.in/egdK7GyZ We're not seeking to convince anyone of anything, but if we hear the participants say something like "huh I never thought of it that way" we're thrilled. In the wake of the attempt on President Trump's life, and in a season of heightened political divisiveness, I'm grateful to be a small part of Mercatus' efforts to equip people to disagree without hating the people they disagree with.
